Pepita oil is steam-pressed from green pumpkin seeds that are grown without shells (GWS). This centuries-old tradition produces limited quantities. During the 20th century, borders shifted. Today newly independent countries Slovenia 🇸🇮 and Croatia 🇭🇷 press much of the best oil.
